- Can also indicate problems with clotting, allergies, or fluid volume
Blood Parasite Test
- Can detect some parasitic infections, such as malaria, filariasis, and babesiosis
- Can include a blood smear or a serology test
- A blood smear involves staining a drop of blood on a slide and examining it under a microscope
- A serology test looks for antibodies or parasite antigens in the blood
- Fluorescent dyes can be used to stain nucleic acids in blood smears and identify parasites
- Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technology can detect the DNA of parasites and worms
Feline Leukemia (FeLV)
- FeLV is more serious and transferable than FIV. It can lead to more serious medical conditions and develops more rapidly than FIV.
- This test is sent to the lab along with the CBC for analysis.
Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) Test
Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) is a virus that affects the intestines of cats.
Symptoms: Diarrhea, fever, and lethargy.
Feline Parvovirus (FPV) Test
Feline Parvovirus (FPV), commonly referred to as Feline Distemper, is a highly contagious and potentially deadly virus that attacks a cat’s gastrointestinal system and immune cells.
Symptoms: Vomiting, diarrhea (often bloody), lethargy, dehydration, and a loss of appetite.
WCF Pedigree
We will provide a WCF pedigree along with your kitten. Please note that there will be a waiting period imposed by the WCF Association, which typically takes around two months or longer, depending on the volume of cat shows they are handling at the time. The reason we are unable to register the pedigree in advance is that WCF, through ARC, requires the owner’s name before the registration process can be completed. Once we receive the pedigree from the WCF, we will promptly forward the documents to you at no additional cost.
Vaccine Book / Passport
We will provide a vaccine book/passport for all of our kittens, which will include a record of their vaccinations and any treatments they have received. This document will serve as an official health record and will be essential for travel or future vet visits. It will also ensure that your kitten’s vaccinations are up to date and properly documented.
Travel Carrier
If your cat is required to fly, we offer two travel options: flying by cargo (for flights of a few hours) or traveling with a nanny on their lap. Since each country has different rules regarding pet travel, we work with an external service to ensure compliance with airline-approved pet carrier sizes and regulations. This will help avoid any potential issues at the airport. The cost of these travel options will be covered by the new owner.
For local pick-up or car travel, we provide a travel basket to ensure your kitten’s comfort and safety.
Microchip and Microchip Certificate
We provide microchipping for all our kittens, ensuring they are easily identifiable if ever lost. The microchip is safely implanted under the skin and linked to a WCF registry. You will receive a microchip certificate with your kitten’s unique number and registration details. This service is included in the adoption and incurs no extra charge.
Regular Grooming and Care for Our Kittens
We prioritize the cleanliness and health of our kittens by bathing them regularly starting from birth. They receive baths at 2 weeks, 1 month, 1 month and 2 weeks, and 2 months of age—typically every 15 days—to ensure they stay clean and maintain healthy fur.
Our grooming includes luxurious spa treatments with Landin’ Groom, a premium show-grade shampoo set, de-greaser, and spa services. We also clean their ears using Virbac ear solution and ensure their nails are clipped regularly. Additionally, we care for their dental health by brushing their teeth with Virbac dental products.
All of these treatments are part of our commitment to ensuring your kitten has the best start in life.
Spot-On Advocate Drops for Flea and Parasite Prevention
We apply Spot-On Advocate Drops on the 3rd of every month, starting at 8 weeks, to protect our kittens from fleas, ear mites, and worms. This vet-approved treatment ensures your kitten stays healthy and parasite-free before joining their new home.
